Famous Sports

Xing Yuanzhe (Kevin)

I read the book Famous Sports. This book's writer is Cameron Fox. This book talks a lot about sports such as football, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, and swimming etc. Also it introduces a lot of famous athletes.

Michael Jordan is my idol. He is the world's most famous basketball player. I understand he is one of the most famous players in basketball history, Michael Jeffery Jordan was born February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. His family moved to North Carolina when Michael Jordan was still small. The youngest of three children, he was considered the most lazy of the three. Although he slacked through the school, when he hit high school, things began to reverse. He began to get better results, and got more interested in three different sports: football, baseball, basketball. In his sophomore year, he was cut from a basketball team, because he was only 5 foot 9. In the summer, he continued training, and grew up to 4 inches, and so he got back in a team. In his final year of high school, was selected for the McDonald's U.S. team. When he was going to college at the University of North Carolina, it wasn't clear what kind of person he would become, but he helped lead his team to win the NCAA championship in 1982. Then he dropped out to enter NBA draft. In 1984, he was taken on by the Chicago Bulls. From then on, he became a star.

I like this book. I think the book was just right for me. I think this book is very good as it let me gain a lot of knowledge. This book is centered on the promotion of sports.
